Lightning

This wonderful Lightning Dreaming depicts the storms Sarrita grew up with in her early years in Darwin.  The lightning crackling across the night sky resembled the dried, cracked earth of her father William King Jangala's country.  

Sarrita's Lightning Dreamings evoke a great deal of movement, usually beginning in a chaotic maelstrom found in one of the panels within the piece, utilising the varied line weight of her precise strokes to draw the eye across the whole painting.
