Collection: Anatjari Tjampitjinpa
Anatjarri was one of the first artists involved in the acrylic movement. He was oen of Papunya Tula's most enthusiastic and consistent painters for over 25 years between 1976 and 1999.
Anatjari Taught many of the Balgo Aboriginal artists to paint in acrylics on canvas. His younger brother, Dini Campbell, was taught by him. Dini later moved to Kintore in the western desert region where he painted for the Papunya Tula artists.
Both his daughters, Mantua Nangala, and Yinapura Nangala are now well-known and established Aboriginal artists.
