Alice was born in 1958 in the bush near Mt. Allan Cattle Station, approximately 250kms north-west of Alice Springs. She now lives in Yuendumu where she paints with her husband Francis Kelly Tjupurrula who is also a respected artist from the area.
Bush vines and their relationship to Women's ceremonies are an important part of her dreamings and her art.
