Adam Gibbs Tjapaltjarri was born in 1964 in Papunya but was unfortunately was taken from his parents, both important members of the Aboriginal Art Movement themselves as part of Australia's Stolen Generation. He was taken to Alice spring where he was raised, but in 1980 he was able to reconnect with his parents, Yala Yala Gibbs Tjungarrayi and Ningura Napurrulaafter wich he moved to Kintore with them in 1981.
