Tingari

Ronnie began painting in 1971 in Papunya at the advent of the contemporary acrylic art movement. His work uses a combination of rhythm, minimalistic and contrasting colour selection to amplify the beauty of his Dreamings.

It was not until the late 1980's, when Ronnie won the Alice Springs Art Prize, that he began to attract serious attention of his monumental and breathtaking work. He was part of the historical exhibition Papunya Tula: Genisus and Genius on 2000, and has been named as one of Australia‘s most collectable artists by art collector magazine.
