Ngoia took up painting in 1997 and painting stories associated with her father and brothers country.
Through her distinctive designs she explores different representations of the swamps, lakes and spinifex country in these areas. In 2006 she was awarded with Aboriginal art‘s most prestigious award, The Telstra Art Award. She continues to produce beautifully crafted and evocative canvases of her Dreamings. She is represented in important private and public collections throughout the world.
