This story relates to a night sky narrative as seen from the desert near Papunya. The concentric circles are referred as both stars in the sky but also they represent the 'old people', in particular the first wave of artists at Papunya. These were the original art stars and Jagamara has painted them in both the 'classic' style (circle and dot) and his own 'abstracted' style with characteristic broad brush 'expressionist' splashes.
