Raised by renowned artists Naata and Nancy Ross Nungarrayi, Esther commenced painting in the early 1990's. Her heritage from an artistic perspective has fostered Esther's skills to become a talented, innovative artist. Her approach to painting has been to maintain the tribal content of her designs and to stylize her technique with an accurate, neat design based approach.

Esther enjoys painting in the company of the senior artists such as Naata and Nancy but preserves her own individual approach to producing fine examples of Western Desert art.
