Earth Cycles

This series of paintings is very interesting as Sarrita has used very thick paint which sits proud of the canvas in a series of dollops that point out from the canvas.  It makes for a very dramatic effect and gives the painting a real life of its own, and a unique presence in any space.

William King, Sarrita's father passed this dreaming down to his daughter, and she honours him by continuing the style in her quiver of dreamings.  This style depicts the patterns of the earth, but also related to the interconnectedness of people and the world around them.
