Description
Like many of the women from Utopia, Anna began her artistic career with Batik painting and moved to working with acrylic on canvas in the early 1980’s when the materials became available to the people of Utopia. Her work is varied, visually articulate and often hypnotic, including dreamings such as Yam, Wild Potato and her Mother’s Country. She has featured in national and international exhibitions such as “Women’s Business” at the Australian Exhibition Centre, Chicago, USA.
